Haunted Candy Wrapper

It was hard not to eat this candy bar before I decorated it! Just take a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of paper (I used lovely lilac) and stamp your background image on it. I used "Happy Boo to You". Wrap the base around the candy bar - it's best to use sticky strip to seal it so it will stay. That stuff is awesome! Then I just cut out little squares 1 1/2 by 1 3/4 inches and stamped my favorite Booglie Eye characters on them. I matted them on basic black paper and used a white gel pen to color in their eyes. I used the colors only orange and gable green. This was a simple project I used in one of my classes and the ladies loved it. Thanks for looking!

Baby Boy Card

Two of my friends had babies this week and they were both baby boys!

I started out with a 4 1/2 by 11 card base of close to cocoa paper and then added layers of blue bayou and scrapbook paper by www.karenpanacci.com. I used the ticket corner punch on those layers. I used my new favorite tool - the Marvy Uchida Scallop Punch with blue bayou paper and cut a circle out with my cricut out of very vanilla paper. I paper pierced a strip of close to cocoa behind the circle. I used SU I'm Here and Hugs and Kisses stamp sets. I added pewter brads and blue bayou ribbon to finish the project.

A Topper Card

I had been wanting to make a "topper" card using my new Marvy Uchida circle punch. The stamp set used is SU Bud Basics. I was so glad that they brought this set into the new catalog! The colors I used were pretty in pink, celery, and close to cocoa. The scrapbook paper by www.kellypanacci.com. I used my paper piercing tool to poke holes in my scalloped circle. I finished by handwriting "Welcome Back!" Thanks for looking!

Here I blog again....

I'm joining the blog wagon again. I spend a lot of time case'ing (copying and stealing everything) from other stamper blogs...so I thought I would generate some of my own creations to share! As with my personal blog, this will take me a while to get going...but I will work on it! Enjoy!!!

The first card I'm posting is one that I made using my FAVORITE new set - Garden Whimsey. I used groovy guava paper and ink, purely pomegranate paper and ink and whisper white card stock. I used the technique "rock and roll". The tulips are covered with dazzling diamonds. Everything looks a little better with diamonds!
