Infinite possiblites with this set!

One of my stampin' club members recently had a party and wasn't too sold on any of the level 2 sets. I'm determined for her to fall in love with this set after she sees some samples. This set is called "Infinite Goodness" - it instantly reminded me of "Natural Beauty". I knew they would have to bring that pear back somewhere in the catalog! This is my card sample for the Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge for today. I even got out the embossing gun tonight - I was feeling CRAZY!!!! Have a good night! Thank you for looking at my blog!
Here is the recipe:
Stamps: Infinite Goodness
Paper: Kraft, Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Real Red, VersaMark, Basic Black
Accessories: Black and Real Red Marker, White Embossing Powder

Genius!

Why can't I think of these easy ideas? I followed Nichole Heady's advice from her blog and organized my ribbon on wooden clothespins. This is one of my favorite blogs that I frequent: http://www.nicholeheady.typepad.com/ I can actually see what ribbons I have! Hope you are having a good Monday. The good news is that it is almost over!

Mail Day

I wanted to post some pictures of cards I have recently received in the mail from two of my SU upline. The first one was stamped by Tracy Spangler. The second one was stamped by Linda Bauwin. They both live in Ohio. I'm always excited to see the wonderful cards that these two send me! Thank you!!!

Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge

Wow! I'm on a challenge binge! This is my 3rd one this week. I'll post the other one I made soon. I'm all alone at home tonight! I know that sounds strange to be excited about being home alone, but it does not happen very much at this house!! My daughter is spending the weekend at Grandma and Grandpa's house (thanks Mom and Dad!) and my son is at a basketball game with my husband. Ahhhhhhh, sigh. The sounds of a quiet house.
I'm going to give this card to my Grandma for her 88th birthday on Feb. 1st. I think think designer paper is just priceless! What an easy way for a great background on a card! Wishing you a GREAT weekend! Thanks for the great sketch Beate!
Here is the recipe:
Stamps: Looks like Spring, Happy Everything
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Purely Pom, Pretty in Pink, Berry Bliss DP
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Purely Pom, Pretty in Pink
Accessories: The best glitter EVER (Dazzling Diamonds), Purely Pom Double Stitched Ribbon

Lovin' the Papertrey Ink!!!!

I was so excited to come home from work tonight and see a package sitting on my porch! Guess what was in it? My new FAV set!!! This is the first time I've ordered from Papertrey. This card was so much prettier in person! I've said this before, I wish there was a better way to capture the sparkle of the glitter on a card. I love how easy designer paper makes a nice background for your cards. This was a super easy card to make.
I hope everyone had a great day today! I was happy to stamp tonight while I watched Biggest Loser. That show is so motivating! I want to go to the gym tomorrow! Hopefully I'll feel the same way in the a.m.!!!!!
Here is the recipe:
Stamps: Out on a Limb by Papertrey Ink
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Close to Cocoa, Berry Bliss DP, Shimmery White
Ink: Close to Cocoa, Pretty in Pink
Accessories: Pewter Brad, Dazzling Diamonds (The BEST glitter in the world!), 2 way glue pen

Happy Heart Day!

Tonight I made some simple projects for a stamping party that I will be doing tomorrow. I was excited to get out my new Happy Heart Day set, until I realized that I never bought a grey marker when I sold my old marker set nor did I have any grey paper. I also realized that I didn't have my tag punch as I sold my tag punch when I SU retired the kit I had bought it in. So....to make due I used bordering blue (close enough to grey, right?) and scissors!

Will someone PLEASE come over and clean up my stamping room? I would say this picture is a "after" picture, but actually it looked this bad when I started my projects tonight! Hope everyone is nice and warm tonight. It's cold outside!

Here are the supplies I used for these projects: Stamp Set: Happy Heart Day -- Paper: Regal Rose, Bordering Blue, Whisper White, Basic Black -- Ink: Basic Black -- Accessories: Wide gossgrain ribbon (real red, regal rose), and various markers.

Thanks for looking at my blog! :)

I haven't used these things forever!!! This is one thing that I felt at the time I needed in every single color - now I realize there is no way I could ever use them all ever!
I haven't used this set for awhile and was feeling the pink colors over the weekend. I didn't stamp a sentiment on it yet...waiting to see what it needs to be.
Here's the recipe:
Stamp Set: Doodle This
Paper: Rose Red, Regal Rose, Rose Red DP
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Circle Punches, Black Eyelets, Pretty in Pink Marker, Regal Rose Marker, Bashful Blue Marker, Mellow Moss Marker

Time Well Spent

Hi Everyone! I'm slowly getting my computer back to normal and reloading all the software I had on it before. I also have my craft room cleaned up. I think I spend more hours a year organizing my room rather than stamping in it! Stampin' Up! was so kind to send all the demonstrators a hostess set out of the new catalog. Thank you for everyone who has sent RAK cards to the Frazier Family. If you haven't and happen to have an extra card laying around, please consider sending this family a card! Here is her link at Caring Bridge: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/mikaylafrazier . I felt like a simple layout today (as usual). Thanks for looking at my blog! :) Julie

Here is the recipe:

Stamps: Time Well Spent
Ink: Basic Black
Markers: Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie
Paper: Rose Red, DS Paper
