Embrace Life

Well, I joined the stamping bandwagon and purchased this set! The Eastern Eclectic style is really growing on me. This card was inspired by or you can say I CASED it off this card posted on splitcoast I cut out the flower blooms and popped them up just a tad with a glue dot. I also finally was happy using groovy guava...I'm still trying to like that color!!!
This will be my last post for a few days as I'm getting ready for a fun weekend of stamping at a lake cottage in Michigan with some of my good stamping/scrapping friends - we have done this the last few Februarys. One of the best things to come out of this hobby is the relationships I've developed. I've become good friends with people who I may never crossed paths with at all. I've also been able to become friends with people I've never met with my blogging friends on the internet. I would just like to say how grateful I am for all the friends I have made through this great hobby! Have a great rest of the week and weekend! Keep warm!

Here is the recipe:
Stamps: Embrace Life, Small Sayings
Paper: Groovy Guava, Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Groovy Guava, Basic Black, River Rock
Accessories: Aquapainter

Your card is fabulous, I love the popped up flowers! Where in Michigan are ya going? cause I live in the south east suburbs, maybe one February we could hook up and do some stamping!

Have a fun time with your friends!
